Jaguar XJ220 and Coffee

It was HOT... It is June Texas... JUNE... Slow your roll... (read: I am 100% SNAFU in the coming months, this is going to be a horrid summer).

Alright... Enough complaining... Sometimes Cars and Coffee yields very interesting cars. But also cars that are completely under the radar unless you know what you are looking at. This was definitely the case for the car below. Not a lot of people around it at all.

It took me a hot minute before I realized the car I briefly glanced at while filming a motorcycle was in fact a Monza Red Jaguar XJ220. As soon as my mind caught up I was completely in the zone and stopped filming the bike. A bunch of supercars started leaving at that time as well, but I couldn’t be bothered getting those exit shots. I was not going to risk having the XJ220 leave and miss my opportunity to get some nice stationary shots.

Needless to say, this was my favorite car at the show. The 1970 Boss 302 a close second. The fact the XJ220 left in front of me while I was the only one on the departure corner was a lucky break. Even luckier was the drive by later on whilst talking to a cars and coffee staff member. What a car. I will remember this one for a while.

What care do I need to look out for? (by the by, I could always review it... it would solve the whole not having your car on video by an entire video dedicated to it! LOL).
